To show your support for tax fairness please contact your state legislators by phone and/or email. You can lookup your legislators using the FindMyLegislator tool on the MA Legislature website.

Once you identify the House and Senate legislators for your area, the most effective way to voice your support is to make contact directly by phone and email. Below we have provided a draft comment you can use, but of course you can use your own comments and modify however you would like. If you have a personal impact story to tell, now is the time to be heard and share it!

Draft Comment (for email and phone calls)

I am contacting you to let you know that I support new legislation to make tax credits fairer for low-income working families and individuals, specifically the following proposed bills:

• An Act establishing a child and family tax credit (H.2761/S.1792)
• An Act to reduce poverty by expanding the EITC and the child and family tax credit (S.1798)
• An Act to increase family stabilization through the earned income tax credit (H.2762/S.1793)
